The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has completed all logistical and technical arrangements for the Inaugural Invest Zambia International Conference (IZIC), which is scheduled to take place from the 16th to the 18th of July 2025 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Lusaka.
According to a statement, issued to ZANIS by ZDA Head of Communication and Public Relations, Kwali Mfuni, close to 2,000 delegates have so far confirmed participation at the conference.
The event is set to host high-ranking government officials, international investors, industry captains, diplomats, development partners, and heads of multilateral institutions, among other participants.
ZDA Director General, Mr Albert Halwampa, has since commended President Hakainde Hichilema, for his dedication in positioning Zambia as a premier investment destination on the global stage.
Mr Halwampa has reiterated the Agency’s commitment to making IZIC a transformative event that highlights Zambia’s vast investment potential while enabling strategic partnerships, deal signings, and knowledge exchange.
“Some of the event partners include Wonderful Group of Companies, First Quantum Minerals, the Chinese Business Community, Cybastion, Catoca, Euro Exim Bank, Zanaco, Standard Chartered Bank Zambia, FNB, IDC, and Barrick Lumwana. Their support has been pivotal in making IZIC 2025 a reality,” Mr Halwampa noted.
The event will also feature over 63 exhibitors from pivotal sectors, including energy, mining, agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, ICT, and infrastructure, showcasing investment-ready projects and innovations to drive Zambia’s economic transformation.
ZDA has further called on all stakeholders such as policymakers and entrepreneurs, among others, to participate, further stressing the need for concerted efforts in shaping a prosperous future for Zambia’s economy.
