Lusaka Province Minister Sheal Mulyata has expressed satisfaction with construction works at Shikabeta Main Arena in Rufunsa district where the Nkombalyanga Traditional Ceremony of the Soli people is scheduled to take place on July 26, 2025.
Ms Mulyata commended the contractor, Gold Hunters, who have embarked on works of modernising the main arena.
She says the firm is doing a commendable job by ploughing back into society through the infrastructure development project.
ZANIS reports that the Minister was speaking shortly after checking on the works at the main arena in Shikabeta area of Rufunsa district.
Ms Mulyata has since called on other private sector institutions to emulate Gold Hunters in their Corporate Social Responsibility model.
And Rufunsa District Commissioner Richard Mabena said the firm is constructing flushable toilets as well as modernising the place by building a shelter and erecting a podium in the main arena
Mr Mabena said Shikabeta chiefdom is pleased with the works and is willing to welcome other investors with developmental projects in the area.
