Lusaka Province has three main rivers namely Zambezi, Kafue and Luangwa Rivers. In addition, the province also has some of nature’s best wildlife and game reserves such as the Lower Zambezi National Park and hosts parts of the Lunsemfwa River Valley, the lower Luangwa Valley in the north-east and part of the Kafue Flats in the south-west that affords the province with abundant tourism potential. The province lies in the frontier formed between the continental divide separating the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean, which traverses from DR Congo to the south of Tanzania.
